直接引语He said," we insisted that she start immediately." 改为间接引语 He said that they insisted that she start immediately.这里面的 insisted 为什么不改为had insisted,还有像这样的词 demanded 改为间接引语时为什么都不改为 had+过去分词?这是什么固定用法还是?

He said," we insisted that she start immediately." 改为间接引语后是宾语从句,that引导的从句作said的宾语.
而英语中的时态规则要求是从句的时态必须与主句保持一致.所以said后面应该是过去时.
“had done”这样的过去完成时表示其动作（done）应发生在主句动作（谓语动词）之前,而said与insist在句子意思中并没有明显的时间前后区分,said后面所接内容只是一种客观陈述：也许是在said之前已经insist,也许到he said动作发生时,they已经并还是这样insist,也许he said之后,they仍然insist.
