这句话我的理解是这样的,wore是错的,因为他过去没住在寒冷地方,所以推测现在应该在不习惯,所以要穿厚衣服.或者如果是过去穿厚衣服的话,说明是过去的过去没住在寒冷的地方,所以“was not used to "应该改为“hadn't been used to ",当然,be used to doing也是固定搭配,答案也是错在live,要改为living,但我的理解是否正确呢?如果按答案来的话,这个句子我怎么翻译也翻译不通啊?
