Most of us believe that famous people are more likely to be happy.I quite agree with this argument.Though some say that normal people can also be happy,but the happiness obtained from fame and from daily life is different.The happiness from fame is more intense and inviting.Let me give an example of people who achieved more happiness from their fame.
This person should definitely be the establisher of KFC,Harland sanders.Before the USA declared war in the World War Ⅱ,Harland owned a small restaurant near a road and served chicken for people who felt tired after a long drive.Owing to his brilliant food,the restaurant quickly became famous among local people.Soon,there are even people who came specially to enjoy his chicken.
You may say that there’s no necessary suggestion of his happiness from the story above,but the following story would convince you.After the USA declared war,the state government confiscated the land of his restaurant to build high way.
After lost his restaurant,the 60-year-old Harland decided to use the money he earned to support the rest of his life.Harland Sanders spent some years in his home,enjoying the peaceful life in the suburb.He could simply continue his happy life,but he chose to struggle to open his restaurant again even though this is nothing easy at war time.
What do you think is the motivation that motivated a 60-year-old man to choose to open a restaurant again?Since he had enough money and social welfare,economical pressure can’t be the reason.Also,he left his family and never went back since 12 years old,so supporting the family is also not the reason.What is left is his desire for the happiness he got from his fame.
Then,there is a contrast.Harland Sanders achieved happiness from both fame and daily life.However,Harland Sanders decided that the happiness from daily life is not enough to replace the happiness he gained from fame,so he set out to open his new restaurant to regain the happiness fame brought him.
