为什么用 was ? 选择is 还 are 依其后接的是可数还是不可数,和名词前的修饰词无关(any , a lot of.)?
2. when we arrived at the cinema, there was a long queue to see the film. 此句为什么不用there has been? (当我们到达影院时,已经排了一条很长的队.) 队是在到达前就已经开始在排了.

1.从句意上是想表达 “刚才”路上车多~所以用了过去时
there be 句型是就近原则,就看后面接的名词单复数就行,看修饰词你容易乱.
2.只是表达现在看到的客观现象/情况的一种陈述所以可以不用完成时.
3.这句比较难.这种时候多从句意情境考虑吧.可能是说警察正在围堵劫匪.
